OPEC postpones technical session to assess the impact of Omicron Bloomberg News

(Reuters) OPEC will reschedule 4,444 technical meetings later this week, giving the Commission more time to assess the effects of the all-new Omicron coronavirus variant,Bloomberg News said Sunday.

According to Bloomberg, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is rescheduling a meeting of the Joint Technical Committee on Wednesday. A joint ministerial follow-up committee, including representatives of the broader OPEC + oil production group, will meet on Thursday, he added.

A joint Ministerial Control Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, which will include representatives from the broader OPEC + Petroleum Group.
